PLANNING YOUR TRIP

When you consider using EMGO/Straits Regional Ride for your transportation needs, it is important to understand schedules and routes in your area. The EMGO/SRR buses may make several stops en route, so plan a slightly longer ride than you would expect by car. Again, call the dispatcher for assistance when planning your trip.

The bus may arrive five minutes before or after your scheduled pick-up time. Please look for the bus and be ready; we want to get you there on time. If drivers don’t see you, they will wait for three minutes past the scheduled pick-up time and then proceed.

“No-Show” Policy: If your plans change, please call us to cancel. The EMGO/SRR tracks “No-Shows” and will charge you a “No-Show” fare on the next trip.

EMGO/SRR dispatchers will try to coordinate rides with other providers, if possible. Straits Regional Ride will continue to offer service in Emmet County, supplementing EMGO bus routes. Other transit services available in the area include Friendship Centers of Emmet County, Bay Connect and Charlevoix County Transit
